Scott Ouderkirk Studios is a stained glass studio using both traditional and contemporary methods. Our work includes stained glass painting and kiln-firing as well as leaded colored glass and often a combination of the two. We can work with you to make your ideas a reality.

We specialize in creating stained glass portraits of people, pets, buildings and vehicles.  These portraits range from as small as 4” x 6” to as large as a picture window or even bigger. They can be displayed in light boxes, windows, glass blocks or by hanging. Scott can even work with a glass blower to place the art within a glass vessel such as a bowl or vase.

Each portrait is drawn by Scott after consulting with the client to get an idea of what makes the subject unique. Glass colors, drawing style, shape, and wood species are just some of the variables that can be adjusted to match the total look of the piece to the subject.  Depending on the situation, Scott works with clients in person, on the phone or over the internet through email. Scott can take photos of the subject or use photos provided by the client.
